I never thought...

...I would be so excited about supper as I am tonight!!  Since going wheat free in January there are a lot of things l have not eaten and actually, now that l feel so well, l don't miss one bit.. but l suddenly really, really wanted to eat pizza and found these gluten free (mostly made with corn) bases so.... tonight is the night!!  All these ingredients and a topping of rocket when it came out of the oven and l was in heaven!!  Delicious and well worth the wait!!  The base was ok.. didn't really notice it so can't be bad!! 

ln other news l have been horrified to find that the local farmer (not sure how he can call himself that to be honest) has muck spread tons of wood chippings on the fields.  l don't really mind the wood chippings but the rest of the stuff appears to be the remnants of a house demolition so masses of copper pipe, plastic sheeting, painted chipboard, plastic draught excluders, electric wire clippings in plastic coatings, polystyrene etc etc.. as far as i can make out there is no plaster or brick.. but what a shocking mess.  l am talking to the parish council and they have requested  a visit from the environmental officer (they might take 5 days to come) but the damage is done... a pristine area of land polluted with no going back.. l just hope they see fit to make him pay for the damage in some way.. grr!!
