I hosted the final and award giving of the 2016 "Our Environment " competition in the Scottish Parliament today , supported by SEPA, Keep Scotland Beautiful & Young Scot amongst others . I got involved last year when Lodhdonhead Primary on Mull in my constituency won with plans for a 'science shed' which I then opened at the school in August.

Nethercurrie's project about flooding in Muirwood Park was excellent but so were the other finalists including ones from Castlebay on Barra, , Dunblane and Uplawmoor.
