How did life get this crazy?

Tonight I find out my mum is a victim of emotional domestic violence - again. I helped her leave my dad when i was a teenager -now I find out it is happening all over again with her partner of 30 years. I am lost and furious and despairing. I'm advising her to get some counseling/ support for herself to build up some self esteem - and she can come and live with me in Oz when I get back if she needs too. But I'm so angry with life right now.........
