How to Brighten a Rainy Day

Our day started in Milford, CT with snow showers and a temperature of 36 degrees F. The forecast along our route was for rain and cool temps. My cousin's condition has not improved so it was a rather blah day. We got off the Interstate in NJ and stumbled upon The Swiss Chalet Bakery and Cafe in Morristown. They offered three selections of homemade soup that were just what we needed to warm our body. Then we each chose a homemade dessert and that somewhat eased the stress. We got back on the road with a cheerier outlook.
