Costa del Crail

After breakfast we wandered down to the harbour and pottered around on the beach and the rocks.  My mum an d dad were due to arrive, but didn’t appear when we expected them, so we wandered off to the rope swing and the park, and somehow managed to time being back home just as they arrived.

After lunch we all headed out to wander round the village and coast.  It was a glorious afternoon.  BB and his grandad skimmed stones at the beach in the sunshine.  BB was desperate to play football with grandad, so the pair of them disappeared to the football pitches, while my mum and I went to the pottery and wandered round the coast eventually ending up at the football pitch.

After tea we watched the new Dad’s Army movie, but poor grandad was worn out by his football exertions and snoozed through most of it!
