Last Wave

well
seasoned
maple leaf,
age spotted, crisp
you hang suspended
just another moment 
caught by the finger
of a forest dweller
not of your kind
yet willing
to let you dangle,
wave good bye
just once
more before
your 
fall

For the Record,
This day came in dark with light rain an drizzle. The Leica SL is weather sealed, so I went out shooting without fear. The iPhone 7 is less fearful of water too, an added bonus.

All hands healthy, but election stressed.

First poem in a long time, it feels good, the Vario-Elmarit 24-90 beast of a lens provides much inspiration and muscles. Now I need the time to browse and comment. Off to the studio today.
