Autumn Reds

I headed to Bagshot for my customary weekly "quick shop" and coffee, but today I thought to take the DSLR, and opting to take-away the coffee  and free newspaper headed into the adjacent open space to enjoy the unseasonably warm sun and autumn colours of the trees.

This open space was originally part of a Garden Nursery, which over time became smaller and smaller as its land was sold off, until eventually it was replaced by the supermarket and a small houseing estate.  Fortunately, this area was retained and partly landscaped, utilising the remaining tree and shrubs.  The developers haven't made too bad a job of it, as can be seen by this mature tree glowing with autumn colours, and nicely set in the landscape.
