Sprinkled with gold dust
I had a walk through the woods this morning and didn't meet a soul. If only the sun would shine and I could get some decent shots of the leaves in their autumn glory.
From my upstairs office window I can see two acers and two tulip trees (hence part of my name) and if I edge a little to the right there is a massive beech tree just up the road which used to be variegated but is gradually reverting to type.
Anyway, enough of that. Today's offering is a small fly which was sitting on the birdbath and very obligingly sat still whilst I took its picture.
