Cygnet 3
A cloudy day today but bright and with wonderfully cheering flashes of sunshine. Here is my favourite cygnet down on the river. It is the single survivor of this year's brood and is still very much with mum and dad. It is always easier to get a shot of these browny feathers than the very reflective whites of the parents - I always have trouble with those. Any advice?
Apart from that, I walked round the Inner Close and to my slight horror saw the ice rink is built already and the chalets are half up for the Christmas market. Also we picked a bag of chestnuts on the green and roasted the first lot just now. They probably need keeping a little, but they were so good!
And now it's Friday evening and the weekend. Enjoy yours xx
