Dead Ted

While strolling through a back street in Oban this afternoon, grubby raincoat flapping around my legs, trilby pulled down over my eyes, something drew those deceptively observant eyes to a high window in a scruffy tenement.

Quite plainly I had come upon the scene of a tragic murder - a smoking gun no less, and a victim. Teddy was slouched forward in an attitude of death, cut down in his prime. Once again, years of training had scored another hit; the authorities have been informed and no doubt the villain will soon be apprehended. The streets of this seaside town would now be safer.
