Timekeeper Square
This development under construction off Chapel Street in Salford is looking well.
It consists of new town houses. I think the light brickwork works well - it was chosen as a visual link between St Phillips Church and the RC Cathedral, both of which are constructed in stone.
The development has been released to the market in phases. The first 8 houses went in 45 minutes apparently, and it is entirely sold out. The first house will be ready for occupation in December. Most of the houses I am told have been sold to Salford people, it's also popular with those in apartments in the city centre who want some outdoor space but still near everything that's going on. Young couples with children and/or pets, but also a few retirees. I would think about it myself, which is always a good test !
The name is a bit obvious - it is overlooked by St Phillip's clocks. Which are accurate, but will need to go back an hour on Sunday to stay so.
