Pushing the Boat Out

We had a lazy start; Sarah and the boys packed up and left late morning then the rest of us drove down the road to Christchurch and had lunch at Pizza Express. We then walked over to the harbour and rented a couple of boats for an hour and had a leisurely cruise up and down the river.
Well, I say leisurely. Once Poppy had got over her hysterics (she has a fear of water) and the Priors engine caught fire and they had been rescued and given a new boat, we had a leisurely cruise.
Home for a rest then cooking dinner.
I can't believe it's the end of our holiday already. It's been fun, frantic, and fabulously foodie.
The diet starts next week.
