Beach life

A full day on the beach today. Punctuated by a kayaking expedition, swimming and the usual mountain of delicious food. Breakfast included smoked salmon and champagne this morning. We had an invitation to the Gala Dinner this evening. It is the last full day that the hotel is open, so they threw a party for the 200 or so remaining guests! Cocktails on arrival, photographers, a red carpet and the most delicious spread of food. Enormous crevettes, caviar, duck, mussels to name but a few and an enormous variety of stunning desserts. All the staff were lined up to welcome the guests and even the manager was clearing tables! The hotel staff are without doubt, the smiliest, happiest group of people ever!
This has been a brilliant holiday. One day left, and a late flight into London tomorrow night.
