A very grey day ...

... and then this happened!

As we were preparing for the end of season Halloween bash at the caravan site the sun put in a brief and unexpected appearance.  A free barbecue, sweets for the kids and fancy dress fun was followed by a visit to spook an old friend of ours who now lives at Plas Rhydyronen, the big house up the lane.  A bottle of bubbly later we were all feeling happily relaxed.

Earlier Amy and I met up with Ruth at Wharf station where amongst other things as part of a science and technology week there was a 3D printer in use.  In the extras you may be able to spot Amy's ghostly face watching as her cookie cutter was being printed.  Also the resulting cookies, knocked up before the evening fun.
