Cruisin'

This is my cousin Christine taking me out in her pontoon boat. She let me drive it after this shot and took a photo of me but I haven't counted that as a blip as I didn't take it myself. I find it difficult enough to take self portraits at the best of times, let alone when I'm driving!

As well as being a wonderful hostess, Christine did something very special for me. My dad, who died in 1992, had visited our family in the USA in 1988. She had taken a video of a day out at Lake Attitash with him. She found this video and copied it for me. It's the only one I have of him, so I was thrilled. She didn't know at the time that years later she would end up owning a house on the same lake.
