Litter picked cotton bud sticks

We picked up these cotton bud sticks within one hour of litter picking in the Avon Gorge this morning.  They are escaping the sewage filters and entering our rivers and seas.  Do please look at    this site, called switchthestick.org   and sign the petition against them being made of plastic.  Paper sticks are available and Waitrose, Sainsburys and Boots have already agreed to phase out the plastic ones and sell paper ones.
