A gift

The roofer arrived at 9 am which was early for us after our late night, but he was able to fix the leak there and then which is such a relief - no need yet to re-roof.

I made some chorizo, chickpea and paprika stew for lunch as #3 daughter and co were arriving to have lunch before departing with the campervan to Beal on the coast. I had to entertain the children while Mr C explained all the complications of electrics, gas, control panel, waste pipes etc. They'll be back tomorrow. No doubt with the clicks going back the children will be up at 5 not 6 - but at least the Holy Island causeway will be clear then for a crossing.

The lovely flowers are a gift from daughter.
