Sizergh Castle

Driving up to the Lake District, Carol Carpenter assured us there was 'not a cloud in the sky, got the sun in my eyes' ... Well no, of course not ...it was misty, grey and drizzly!!!

But we still enjoyed the gardens at the Castle! The restaurant there was full of noisy, fed up, little people, so we went to the near by Watermill Inn for lunch!

A pretty good day really, though we missed Chester Dog by our side, who was being looked after by son #2.
