Furniture...
The old wrought iron in our streets is something I've been interested in for longer than I care to remember. Maybe it's having been born in Steel City, Sheffield. The wrought iron found in the countryside like this gate at Escrick near York, is just as fascinating in a different but related way.
I've even (geekily) done some research into it on and off over the years. There's a great archive of material in the Museum of London and also in the library at the Iron Gorge Museum in Shropshire...
