Brocki

Today I took myself on a trip around Basel second hand shops, known as 'brocki'. I'm slowly getting used to Swiss prices being extortionately expensive, but had a rather nice surprise in the brocki! I'm guessing perhaps the Swiss don't like buying second hand?
Just before you came away I noticed that my old hand crank singer had been flood damaged, yet there were several electric ones at very good prices today, so I guess I may get one!
However, being without transport, I ended up doing a couple of journeys to collect a standard lamp and a coat stand, as well as a rather lovely umbrella stand.

the extra is my new umbrella stand, which I think has a Russian feel to it.
