Frère Jacques...

Today was, as usual,  my 'alternative' flower day with Violet.  She arrived to find our house in pandemonium as our decorator has finally arrived to paint and paper the dining room.  This dining room project actually began in January.  At least the building side of it did.  That was finished reasonable quickly, but getting the wooden flooring laid to make it usable took until the end on May. Our decorator was booked up with outside jobs throughout the Summer but finally...we now have half the room contents filling the hall and any other available space for at least a week!
There was no Tumble Tots this week as it's Half Term, so we took a trip out to meet Mummy for lunch and do a little shopping just to get out of the house .
 Earlier on,  I had managed for the first time in a long time, to get a shot of a very still Violet as mid morning she simply nodded off sitting on the settee.  The title today?  This is the song that daughter #1 was playing to her when she drifted off. 

Again just no time to take photos of real flowers, BUT I do feel that as the week ends I'm beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel workwise!
