The Adventure Comes to a Close

We traveled almost 17,000 miles in the last 80 days and I have learned so much about our country and its people and witnessed beauty we never expected. I thank God for all the blessings we have received during our lives that made this possible. Among those blessings are our family members who willingly accepted responsibility for our home, our kitties, our mail and many, many plants. This was certainly a dream come true and I sincerely hope all of you who have followed our adventure will have the same opportunity to follow your dreams. As nice as it was though, we were ready to return to those dear people who love us as much as we love them. This photo shows just one of the welcoming signs that greeted us. And two of the artists are snuggled on beds close to our room at this very moment. Sweet dreams my little ones!
