My 1st day at school

Here is our wee Katie. She was so excited at the prospect of starting school. She was not nervous or quiet. She are her breakfast and wanted to get into her uniform. We all then got in the car and headed towards the school. We decided on the way to drop Jessica at Granny and Papa's house!! The joy for them now they live close to us???

At the school, Megan and Johnny headed off to their playground. Johnny has moved up to the big playground now and my last words to him were "make sure you look where you are going as it is much busier up there", "yes Mum" he said. He came out at 3pm and what had happened??? I don't need to tell you, do I?

We took Katie into her class at 9.15 this morning and she was still absolutely fine. WE hung her blazer up, changed her shoes to her indoor ones, put her lunchbag on the trolley, put her snack in her tray, then her bag into the box....phew we finally we sat her down at her desk. It was very busy but Katie was still very calm, I then said "it is time for us to leave" , she then clung onto my arm!!!! Mrs Toman took hold of her and Daddy and I left. Katie is well known for this in our house as every day at nursery she did this and she is fine once I leave but she was so excited this morning.

She came out at 2.45pm and told me and Granny that she had had a lovely day and that she had homework....awwww.

Hopefully she will be better tomorrow!
