Happy Birthday Mum

Another nice day today, got up for work and popped into my mums with her papers but today was slightly different from other days because it was her birthday. She said when she woke up this morning, she thought she was 80 then she realised she was only 79, so I said that's a bonus mum your a year younger than you thought you were.

After work we went to see mum with a card and presents, of course when you visit my mum the kettles put on, the sandwiches are made up and we sit in the living room putting the world to rights. I asked if I could blip her for her birthday while she was spreading the bread and she was only too happy to oblige.

She is such a wonderful person and would do anything for anyone and she loves a blether. I always say if my mum sits next to someone on a bus that she doesn't know, by the time she gets to her destination she will know their life history.

She was so happy to see us as always and as we left to go home we left with a bag of goodies. Thats right, you never leave mums empty handed.
