Windswept and Interesting
After a lovely relaxed day yesterday we were ready to face the onslaught of kids and the likelihood of more tears and tantrums. Rob and I decided to take the kids for a long coastal walk and it didn't start too well - we were all a tad stressed by the time we left the house. Thankfully as soon as we were out of the house the kids were great and continuted to be so all day. We had ice lollies, we sang and we looked for fish and crabs in rock pools. Miss A even made up a new word. When I asked her what she wanted for lunch she said a 'cheese hamwich'. When I asked her if she meant cheese sandwich she said 'No mummy, it's a cheese and ham sandwich.'. Pretty clever for a 3 year old, I think.
Speaking of clever, we have been letting Little D run around without a nappy and even though it's after the event, he's great at running up to tell us he's pee'd and will show us where to find it. He's also a dab hand at opening the freezer and shouting 'lolly' until someone opens the drawer for him. He's growing up so fast - it's just a joy to watch.
