Autumnal Sunday

We went out for dinner at Mark & Natalie's last night. I managed to equal my wine intake with water so did not suffer a hangover this morning so our Sunday ramble was not spoiled.

Mark had a brain scan on Friday. The scan showed a fist sized black nothingness on the right side of his brain. The part of the brain that controls speech and the left hand side of his body. He cannot string more than a couple of words together and is partially paralysed. He's 22 months post stroke now. Still a long road ahead and I wonder if he will ever get it all back.
