Back to Senior Frogs . . .

. . . checked out PHC leaving luggage at the reception for a last session round the pool, but that wasn’t to be as soon the rain set in so we taxied it over the exit bridge to The Hilton.

It had cleared up by the time we had checked in there so off for light lunch at senior frogs before the hotel beach, until it again started raining!

We sheltered in the pool bar which has some storm damage to its roof, so it was a case of finding a dry spot even inside! I’ll spare you the story of my restroom visit, enough to say it was 2” underwater and was raining over the only stall, and all the loo paper was soaked . .

We spent our last night proper at “the fish fry” a collection of shacks really each with its own charm. Ended up in the Fish Central, a dimly lit pale blue shed with a tree as its main structural support. The food and atmosphere was great, if a little edgy at times, the large fan over the main light further added to the ambience with a flicking effect . .

Finished the evening over looking the harbour on the deserted beach.
