Unexpected

The bulbs for these Nerines, a gift from a London friend, were only planted in September so it was a surprise  that they grew and flowered.
Having survived the Sunday shopping crush in Aldi to buy a replacement vacuum cleaner, neither Redilady or myself felt like going out in the gloom again. We both decided that it was time that these blooms repaid all the TLC   ( ie thrown in a hole, covered and forgotten) by appearing on blip. It follows that there is a certain similarity between our two pictures:-)
