Brugge
Brugge is lovely! We have walked for miles all around the little streets, looking at churches, architecture and all sorts of quirkiness. We have visited the Museum of Torture - human beings are a violent and twisted race, in an incredibly creative way - very interesting if very macabre; eaten proper Belgium Waffles off a street vendor and enjoyed a cruise around the canals on a boat. I've never seen so many chocolate shops in one area before!
Blip is of The Dadski with the church tower and hotel in the background that featured in the film 'In Brugges'. He spent many a happy hour telling us how the shots couldn't have been taken due to ledges etc. Who said films were ever truthful?!
The extra is The Dadski coming out of a Heronimous Bosch piece of art, where you peddle yourself backwards into a giant funnel to peer up the small funnel end inside to see one of his paintings magnified. Very strange!
Tonight we are aiming to have an all you can eat buffet on the ferry and perhaps a little disco dancing for The Dopski :)
