Mega Session

Yesterday I went to a pub near Chorley in Lancashire for a lunchtime music session.The pub staff were very welcoming though the eagle eyed amongst you may spot that spelling is not their forte! 

I've never travelled so far for a session but it was well worth the journey from Shropshire. There were at least 40 musicians there with a large variety of instruments being played (I'm in the corner of the shot plonking along on my piano) and some good songs sung.

It was also great to meet up with people that I normally only see at folk festivals  - a really inspiring and enjoyable occasion!
