Rowan tree by the Dart
Today was another still dry day and we set out for tour 4 tors and 4 river crossings circuit from the hut, but we went anti-clockwise for a change. The rowan berries are said to be the best for many a year and large mixed flocks of thrush, redwing and fieldfare were gorging themselves and flying round about us as we walked. We were told that there were some ring ouzels in their midst, but did not manage to spot them. I have come away unprepared for the number of pictures that i have taken, and my battery is flat, so I have had to borrow another for today and tomorrow's blip.
