Running free

After church it was down to North Berwick for lunch with my mother and some relatives. At 96 she still cooks for her guests and we had a lovely lunch.

Around her house are some large trees and we were aware of a regular noise from one. A grey squirrel was making almost bird like sounds. See extra.

After doing a few things we headed to the beach to let the dog run around. He's normally on a lead but the quiet beach in later afternoon and the wide space allowed him the freedom to race up and down the sands. Occasionally setting some crows into flight.

An enjoyable end to the day.
