A gaggle?

Fantastic down on the marshes this morning! Thousands of Barnacles, lifting, calling, landing, feeding, right next to me the other side of the hedge! Then a noise like a motorbike, nearer, nearer, louder, overhead? And a flight of Whooper Swans powered hedge height above me! Wonderful!
