Preparations

The little one is starting school next week. One by one the preparations are being made:

School bag - check
Lunch box - check
Uniform, shoes and gym shoes - check
Smart haircut - check
Painting smock - check

Still need to find a pencil case and a word tin and to jazz up plain drawstring bag to create a 'tidy' bag, but we are almost there.

Tonight though, the relentless task of labelling up the gear. It's not that big a job though as I'm strictly a iron on or stick on kind of a mum*, no sewing here!


*actually to be quite honest as the year goes on and the iron labels fall off in the wash, I usually become a sharpie pen on any available space sort of a mum.
