Just for fun...

I attempted to take a selfie while sitting on the lowest limb of a birch tree in the Arboretum (see extra). I guess my arm isn't long enough to do a good job because this definitely is not a flattering portrait. My intent was to show the upper branches and  leaves so that you can see that I am actually sitting on the tree. It didn't work too well, but I did get a laugh  out of the situation when the driver of one of the little vehicles that take people on nature tours around the arboretum stopped and pointed at me. "You're not really part of the tree, are you?" she queried. I wonder if the riders in her vehicle were amused. I know I was, but I still wish it could have been a better picture.
