No Place Like Home

There are a few of you who will recognise Pope's Row. I was visiting Ware today for lunch with my college chums and as the sun was shining I took a walk down our old street.

We lived here for about 15 years. When we first bought it I couldn't believe we were buying a semi detached house! As a London girl I had lived mainly in flats while growing up.

Shame I had to visit the day the bins were being collected. But it is lovely to see that some of the big trees that make the boundary to the primary school opposite our house are still in place.

It was a good place to live and I am glad I still get the chance to visit it now and again.
