Sheffield Park Garden: Autumn Contrasts

A Common Beech (Fagus sylvatica) in its autumn finery contrasts strikingly with the long, blue-green needles of one of Sheffield Park's iconic Montezuma Pines (Pinus montezumae).

Elsewhere in the Garden (see today's 'Extra'), the Chinese Gentians (Gentiana sino-ornata) are at their peak in their specially designed beds.
