The magic faraway tree

A lovely day out in Buxton to meet my friends Elspeth and Elaine. I got the train this time and walked to the station and enjoyed the journey. We had a lovely lunch at number 6 the square tea shop then walked round the pavilion gardens. We came across this tree sculpture from an old beech tree. The door in the trunk reminded us of the Enid Blyton book. Got the train home and it was really dark walking back from the station. What a difference getting the train made reading my book and feeling no stress from the queues on the M6!!
