City of Trees

Two big maple trees adjacent to Swinton Precinct looked spectacular in the sunshine - providing a contrast to the rather featureless facade.

Not quite so effective translated into a phone photo shot - J thinks this looks like baked cauliflower, which is not quite the effect I was after. Oh well .............

Urban trees are important, and make a real contribution to the street scene. And in the warm autumn sunshine, trees such as these certainly lift my spirits.
