Fluffy Road...
Even the most mundane scene can look photographically interesting when you strip out the visible light with an infrared filter. This is my walk to work from the bus stop - I risked rendition to guantanamo bay and took some photos in the vicinity of the Grangemouth refinery.
I'm still trying to teach myself to see in black and white, but infrared is just going to be suck it and see I think, unless the optician can fit me with 720nm contact lenses - that would be amazing.. submerged in a world of smooth skinned black eyed vampires and truffula trees.
In a few months, the whitened greenery in this picture will be real hoar frost and I'll be a hunched figure in my puffa jacket, stumbling along in the half-light of midwinter, my legs numb from a 2 hours in drafty buses and refrigerated bus stations. Don't you just love our wonderful varied climate? I'd hate to live in a country where it's sunny every day. Well, not hate exactly, but I'm sure I'd get bored after a while..
