Scary, Scary Night

Do you decorate for Halloween? This is not my house - just one I saw while out walking The Herding Dog this afternoon.

Is there much Trick or Treating in your neighborhood?

Apparently fewer neighborhoods see kids going door to door these days (I've been told that parents consider church pumpkin patches to be an acceptable, and safer, substitute). My neighborhood is bucking the trend.

Tonight will be warm and dry, which means no buckets of leftover candy for me, unlike when it is cold and/or wet. Boo! Big Dog and Daughter's Dog will enjoy the visitors and The Herding Dog will hate it all - she will be safely hidden away in her laundry room crate.
