Patches

Patches the ram is a resident of Taylor Bray Farm in Yarmouthport, MA.  It was a cold damp day so we decided to visit the farm instead of taking a walk on the trails.  The farm was settled back in the 1600's as part of Plymouth colony, but archeologists have discovered Native remains that go back much further.  They are still digging for artifacts and had a crew there even today.  The farmhouse and land have been purchased by the town and the site is now home to farm animals, a restored farm house, and beautiful views of a marsh on the bay.  Patches is a Navajo Churro  sheep.  He is the only ram on the farm, and as you can see, a major candidate for the Annual Sheep Festival shearing event.
