Going Nowhere Fast

Today slowly turned into a better one than yesterday.

Last day of Kindy. First day of school holidays. Took the kids to the Science Alive Museum and had fun exploring. Came home to clean, clean, clean, make dinner, and clean some more.

My children found this guy in the garden and closely observed it for at least 45 minutes. Lewis, 6, said he'd like to be a snail so that he could curl up into his shell and just hang out, maybe play games. I can relate.

In-laws arrived and spent the rest of the night sipping wine and catching up on their adventures through the South Island.
