It's amazing what gets washed up after a strong onshore gale.
Alongside this pot was another (less photogenic) one which actually had half a dozen small lobsters still inside. What's a puzzle is that several of them already had bright blue elastic bands keeping their claws shut. Now - is that evolution or had the pot washed off a shipwrecked fishing boat that had already started to process them.
[Later thought - or were they bait for bigger ones???]
Alongside that was one of Penzance Sailing Club's racing marks - presumably for use by their new Onshore racing fleet (rather than their established Offshore or Inshore fleets).
