Fiery rainbows

The leaves this year are extraordinary.  Apart from a square crop, I've done nothing to this raw photo but turn the highlights down slightly on the blue sky.  

Everywhere is crisp, crunchy and colourful.  With barely a breeze, no rain and some coldness in the air, this year's autumn colours are a complete delight.

As was my bike ride!  

I headed to Otley and Addingham at a decent pace (I've sadly lost too much fitness for actual speed!), with just a vague feeling behind my knee.

But no pain.
