Dd received news that a very good friend, a fellow Scot here in Barcelona, passed away yesterday after a long fight with cancer. They had a special friendship founded in their common roots and developed over long years of working together in our early years here and then meeting up regularly whenever our later displacements allowed. RIP, Hugh, the most gentle and erudite of Scottish giants.
