After a sleepless night, i helped Mum get up and sorted before a carer arrived, then I headed off to see Dad, who brightened up when I was there, took him some history books and newspapers etc to keep him occupied. Then back to see Mum  and show her the photos and help her get ready for bed. She cried when I said I was going to sleep at my house and go back first thing in the morning to help her get up.
