Begonia

A very dull, cold start to the day but gradually the temperature rose to a balmy 9C and we enjoyed some lovely sunshine.  I even saw some folk enjoying their lunchtime sandwiches in the Botanic Gardens

I always enjoy a wander through the glasshouses .... camera lens misting up is a bit of a problem at times.  The is some extensive work being carried out in some of the areas .... clearing out old plants, re-landscaping and new plantings.  Don't think the work will be completed anytime soon.

Most of the orchids were behind glass and not easy to photograph so I chose this lovely begonia instead.  The extra is some wonderful begonia leaves.
