bump day

Saw Sarah and Marie-Claire this morning for a wee while and then I had to leave them to go and do some messages in Nyons. I'm getting stuff in for Pierre's birthday tea this Saturday. I went to the butcher and got the meat for making 'allouettes sans tete' which is one of his favourite dishes. His most favourite is 'pieds et pacquets' but there's no way I'm going to try and make that on my own for the first time! And I like a challenge! So, got the beef for the allouettes and then spied some pigs' feet in the butcher's counter - another of Pierre's favourites. Got him one for his starter on Saturday :)

Made saucisses et lentilles for lunch and Pierre got back around 2pm. He's got one more morning to do and then that's him off for a couple of days.

Early night for me. I feel tired this past couple of days.
