BethaBlip 118...

This is my monthly track of my children as they grow to see how they change as time goes by. I take the same photo in the same place each 1st and 15th of each month along with a wee diary of what has happened and how life has progressed for each of them. Bethany on the 1st and Ewan on the 15th. It is quite remarkable and is accentuated by the 1 year ago thumbnail down in the bottom right.

Tattie holidays this month.  The October holidays.  Her mum was away to visit Australia for the second week so I was in charge.  We tried to do a load of things so they felt holidayed.  We went into Edinburgh to the Museum of Childhood on the trams, went up to Dundee to the Science museum amongst other things.

We’ve just had halloween and I spent a bit of my holiday with them sorting out their costumes.  Bethany wanted to go as the Suicide Squad Harley Quinn.  We made a brill Mallet and I cracked open the sewing machine and Sharpies to make her top.  She's standing with her carved butternut squash.  We had a couple we hadn't used so these went in for the school pumpkin parade.

I also got to see first hand how well she’s getting at ice skating.  Doing very well going backwards and she constantly practicing her tricks on the wooden floors in the house.

She has officially stopped going to cubs.  I told her cub leader last night.  Bit of a shame but she said she was feeling a bit sort of shut out because all the other girls are from a different school.
